Intumescent coatings offer the ability to fire protect the steelwork while enhancing its aesthetic appearance.
Fire ratings up to 2 hours are possible on many types of steel sections for both interior and exterior steelwork.
By combining Carboline primers and topcoats with Nullifire intumescent coatings a fully compatible system can be designed to meet the specific needs of any project.
Nullifire intumescent coatings can be applied by airless spray either on site after the steel is erected or off site in the fabrication shop prior to the shipment to site.

In aggressive environments or extreme conditions where normal fire protection products are not suitable we can offer Nullifire System “E” Epoxy Intumescent.
This a high performance product that has been tested to UL 1709 for long term durability.
It can provide up to 4 hours fire protection in hydrocarbon fires. Typical applications include oil and gas platforms, petrochemical facilities and critical assemblies in the aerospace industries.
